Already tried a variety of the stop smoking aids ?

If you’ve already tried a variety of the stop smoking aids, and you’ve tried quitting smoking without any help at all, you may think it’s just not meant to be. Maybe you're right. Not if you haven’t considered quit smoking hypnosis though. With a good & effective hypnotist, you can take a minute to discuss if the possibility doesn't exist for you- even if you failed at it before. Finding the right hypnotist for you can make all the difference.

Give this phone message a listen:

"Dirk,You hypnotized me some time ago and I just wanted to give you an update: I am a non-smoker! It's pretty incredible because it's like I never smoked in my life. It is amazing and thank you so much. I will keep you updated in the years to come because it is fantastic to be a non-smoker and be completely convinced that you will never do it again. So I hope you are having a great year saving lives, and doing what you do best. Thanks again." Shandal D., Overland Park, KS

Feel that excitement? How did she accomplish that?

Here's the basics: What is Hypnosis actually? Hypnosis is a “state of selective thinking,” where the subject (who is in control) chooses to experience only what is relevant to his goal- in this case, being a healthy happy non-smoker with very little cravings, if any, blocking out everything else. You remember the child in your class whose mother really did believe he was incapable of error. She wasn't hypnotized was she?

Why Hypnosis? Because it works and it is fast and effective. Can hypnosis work for me? That's a fair question. The answer is "Yes", and get this, there’s no doubt that suggestion is a powerful tool. If you doubt that, just think about the amount of money spent on advertising. While it’s not hypnosis in the purest sense of the word, there’s no doubt that advertising works. This is our nature. This is the first major step before turning to hypnosis as quit smoking help – all you have to do is keep that open mind and maintain a readiness to believe that hypnosis might certainly work for you. If you can do that, I promise you will succeed- you've simply begun letting it work, it does the rest.

Now, when someone is thinking of hypnosis as a method of communicating directly with the subconscious mind, it just makes good sense to also keep, in that open mind of yours, what it has done for millions of others. True story: thumb sucking, nail-biting, hair twirling or some other habit, all gone in one session. You probably know somebody, we see it everyday. More & more, people are realizing this power and using it to focus in on one specific. In quitting smoking through the use of hypnosis, all that is required is a willingness to change that habit more quickly & easily. You might begin to experience it as a kind of guided concentration or imagery. Either way, it will be pleasant and you will feel perfectly comfortable and at ease at all times, everyone does. Overall, we use hypnosis as a tool for accessing the subconscious portion of your mind, and then ask it to actively support you in achieving this possible cigarette free future of yours.

And if you don't love that description use one you do like. All you really have to know is that when done properly hypnosis works, it lasts and it's only side effects are an increase in health, wealth, and freedom.

You probably noticed how I explained the basics right away, experience shows that when the word “hypnosis” is mentioned, many people immediately conjure up images of the comedic hypnotists that make unsuspecting participants quack like a duck or perform some other ridiculous action. These misconceptions only prevent others who could benefit from hypnotherapy from ever making that appointment. On an ordinary day, we'll spend the first 30 minutes of the 2 ½ hour session simply unlearning those kinds of misconceptions. But we'll be pleased to do this by answering any questions you may have. We might talk about the found Egyptian scrolls which describe hypnosis being used way back then. Or how today smoking is among the most interesting applications of this 3000 year old “new” learning technology. But you wouldn't even be here unless you already want to use our hypnosis stop smoking programs as serious help to match with your serious desire to quit smoking cigarettes.

But while we're here, let's go ahead and debunk some other myths: hypnosis is nothing like the Hollywood movies, if it were no one would go see that movie and thousands of people every month wouldn't use it to achieve specific goals. The real story is that the only person enjoying hypnosis is you and maybe those who happen to have an enthusiasm for the subject. Now, clearly there is no surrender of control, no magic and no one can be hypnotized against their will. In addition, no hypnotized person can be forced to do anything against their will. Here's what we know, unlike those Hollywood movies, hypnosis is not about losing control, it is in fact of course a method of taking control of yourself, perhaps so much so that you even surprise yourself a little.

Personally, I graduated college and have a master's degree from an accredited university, smoking and weight are the most common issues I handle, but there are more. I hypnotized my first subject when 17 years old, he was my neighbor Sean, for a our class science project. He knew my father has hypnosis books in his collection, so I simply read from one. Whether it was that or some quality of my voice, I don't know but the advantage that experience gives me now is seeing just how real hypnosis is. In the middle of life now, I remain amazed each time, to see the power of the mind over your life can be astonishing.

OK, it's obvious hypnosis is not sleep, unconsciousness, or a mind control. It is feeling more like your subconscious mind is at a heightened state of capability and awareness. Now, here's a surprise, you will find there is no "typical" hypnotic response. I see people responding to questions under hypnosis in hundreds of different ways. Some respond to simple requests, either verbally or by nodding the head or by a hand signal. Any way you choose is what is best for you in respect to your preference.

Hypnosis is for normal people who have extraordinary dreams. In the field of hypnotherapy, in looking closely at what this smoking has been for you, in your life, we want you to say goodbye to it in the way that's best for you, don't we? What does that mean exactly? From my point of view, if someone says “I quit X'ing 10 years ago and I haven't had a lick of fun since.” This would not be considered a success in my office. That's because when you really think about it, what a huge & unnecessary waste it is for that person. Why did he leave "good ol good-time Charlie or Charlene" back in the past? Everybody really liked that aspect about him or her. And that old part probably plays a part in keeping the smoking habit going. And the waste is in the fact that all that he really needed to leave behind was that substance, that one that was killing him. Not the benefits he thought he was receiving from it. Unbelievable isn't it?

OK, I have always used humor in my approach to hypnosis. Do you work well with that that approach? That's my style and I want what I want. For you that might mean you come in like another client of mine, a native gentleman, a real stubborn sort. His name was Mr. Always. I just didn't know when we booked the appointment that his last name was Right. He wanted to fight tooth & nail, his teeth his nails, & I love these people, I really do. Maybe because I respect that. But because he decided to, he is now happy not to ever smoke again, just feels differently about that old silly habit. And it can be pretty amazing like that for a lot of people. You know, when people ask why that is, I think it's because even they didn't realize how amazing the mind really can be. However, please always remember you heard this here first, "he" was the one to "decide" to do what he did, and become a non-smoker for important personal reasons. With me, I'll never suggest you do it for the spouse or the in-laws. Sometimes it's like I'm just watching it all happen. I believe I enjoy that most now because of all the different types of people who end up showing me how they are doing it, in their own particular way. It seems there are no stop smoking methods that work without the will power of the smoker to some degree. But that's why I do as I do, enable you a path to succeed.

Right now, if I could tell you how to stop smoking without ever having any cravings for another cigarette, would you be interested? Of course, millions of smokers would. I guess about 35% of the clients I work with report that, for them, it's as though they never smoked. Not like a zombie but like smoking was kind of a misdirection on life's road that happened so long ago, long ago forgotten. Certainly nothing to repeat. It's just behind them now. And I can never determine exactly which ones will be so blessed. There is no common denominator among them accept this: 3 things: 1. That the focus be on one topic (smoking) and that the hypnotic session be created exclusively for that one person (You & your experience with smoking), 2. That you truly want to stop smoking for your own reasons, and 3, that your appointment time in our office be at a time of your own choosing. With those three requirements in place I feel you really would find it difficult to fail.

All by itself, I'll agree smoking cessation can take some effort & be undeniably difficult. One of the most common problems faced by those who seek us out for hypnotherapy seems to be the presence of an expectation that "stop smoking help" will make "everything" like a miracle from above. And if those 3 elements are present it will be easy for you with hypnotherapy, but the truth is that no matter what, you & you alone are responsible for holding the line we set together.

Just don’t enter into a hypnosis program expecting perfect results. It's possible some will report an occasional craving for a cigarette. Quick, what are you going to do about that? Time: It could be a month after we meet, maybe driving the car a strange idea sort of pops into the mind, but yet with a few deep breaths and the determination you have built up by now, even that will just fade right away. For fewer still, stopping smoking might be kind of small mind battle. Maybe one day finding yourself in at old Aunt Betty's place finishing up on that wonderful piece of pie of hers, thinking.. "yes, no, yes, no.. Yes! I really have come to being a non-smoker once and for all!" And once again with a little deep breathing technique, even the memories of smoking after eating something sweet or doing something physical, will just fade right away into the past forever. Of course, Betty's pie will taste better than ever though, right.

My philosophy or a way of thinking about hypnosis is that, without exception, it will be an extremely powerful aid in your battle to stop smoking. It can feel quite amazing but only if you're ready willing and able to accept the responsibility to walk forward as a healthy happy non-smoker. The help will be there, strongest when you're weakest. That's the way it works. Look for it and it will be there for you when you need that extra push or support to never look back.

Honestly, for those who make-up the rest of my ex-smoker clients, if you're reading this now, I know I didn't make you quit. You quit smoking for yourself, didn't you. And you did like with all quit smoking products and programs, you used our deep pleasurable hypnosis simply as a potent part of your overall plan. I knew who you were when I was with you because that attitude is unmistakable, smoking will never touch you again. So in your case it's really sort of magical from a different point of view. You've made a dramatic change in your outlook. No cure that requires no effort by you would do. Nor would you want it to, would you? You're self-esteem and confidence levels have risen. Naturally, you have more energy and personal pride coming from accomplishing these kinds of things; and you will continue to for years to come as a non-smoker. And it was all accomplished in only one 2 ½ hour time frame.

We use to do it the old fashioned way of requesting you to clear your calendar for 3 to 5 one hour sessions. But we found a higher success rate with our current method. Think about it for a moment with me, you are a smoker whether you smoke 1 pack or 4 packs, it makes no difference. It always comes down to that one day when you quit with us. Your a smoker, be one until you quit. Why torture yourself? Especially because you know we wouldn't suggest that unless it actually increases our success in helping you..

Cost is another factor that keeps some people from seeking out a good & effective hypnosis therapy. You’ll find that this isn't’t a free stop smoking program, but it may not be as expensive as you thought. We ask for 60 packs of smokes or a one-time investment of that amount. You get back control of your life, you stop hurting your health, and you do the arithmetic: at an average of $4.00 a pack, where else can $250 make you $1500 every year for the rest of your life? How will not smoking effect the wider personal spending you deserve? Take a look, some people decide spending $3,000 a year on cigarettes when spending $250.00 to stop for good with us just makes perfect sense.

Despite what some people think, stop smoking hypnosis isn't’t a magic cure, but it can feel like one if you allow it to be. Regardless of what stop smoking programs you've tried in the past, if you have a sense of determination now to overcome that smoking once & for all, one last time. I will be honored to assist you. Put it into the past forever no matter what, that's the important thing. In the field of hypnotherapy, I see many find that even if it demands a little effort, you can & will find whatever it takes to succeed.

Although hypnosis is not a panacea, there are many areas where it has proven to be tremendously helpful, including pre & post surgery, memory, concentration, insomnia, overcoming fears or habits that were holding you back, weight loss, stop drinking or using drugs in problematic ways, better golf and the list goes on & on.

I won't tell you smoking is detrimental to your health, and I'm not going to parade the "incredible" benefits to quitting. We have a web page listing those reasons that past clients have used. If you want to, you can do anything you put your mind to. That's what I believe. Perhaps you can take the time to simply consider hypnotherapy for smoking cessation? If you’re ready to stop smoking, hypnosis may be just the answer you’ve been searching for.
